Okay thats great, I'll try to come in this week! We do have all the basics in our storage. Wheat, oil, sugar etc. We also have a wheat grinder and a generator and a wood burning stove. I also have some soups and ketchup and toothpaste, shampoos laundry soap etc. I just don'd know what i am feeling so strong about and I can't run out and buy it if I don't know?!

You didn't mention water. Do you have water??
That is the FIRST thing anyone should have on their list. You can last for days without food, but you can't without water.

We have more than 9 barrels full. We count for washing and cleaning too.

That's good to know that you have all that other stuff.

I was going to send you a few sites on preparedness, but it looks like you are way ahead of me there.

Let's see....

Do you also have other grains besides wheat? Oats? Beans? Pasta's? ANd all the regular stuff that you would need for the meals that you usually make. Take pasta for example....do you have cans or bottles of pasta sauce? Or stuff to make your own?

How about rice? Rice is another great one to store.

Have you ever hear of the In Case Of Store in Cardston? Across from the Beehive books?? They have aLL kinds of stuff there. We buy a lot from them when we go make a trip to the temple.

We have canned hashbrowns, and other potato stuff. We have freeze dried corn and other vegetables (THEY ARE FANTASTIC!) We have dehydrated veggies, a veggie soup mixes.

Do you have powdered milk? Powdered cheese??

Do you have your sweeteners? Unprocessed honey, or molasses or white and brown sugars?

Do you have canned proteins or meat?? Tuna? Salmon? Chicken? Canned beef or chili's? etc. etc.

Also maybe different things that you would normally bake with. Nuts, choc. chips, etc. (These only last in the freezer, though.)

Oh! Do you have a good supply of yeast?? Can't make bread without it. Unless you are making pitas, or course. : D

I will still try and send some of the sites to you....maybe that will help with the answer you are seeking. I can't wait to find out what that is. This is exciting!
