Sweet Father in Heaven whose love is divine
Thank you so much for this son who is mine
To others he'd be a burden to bear
But to me he's a joy to which none can compare
I know that he's differant from most boys and girls
He speaks kinda funny and plays strange with his toys
For him change is hard, he can get so upset
He must seem odd to those he has met
Yet as I look into those precious brown eyes

For life doesn't always turn out the way that we hope

You help me to see as others do stare
That this is my precious boy not a burden to bear
Although he is differnat than some other kid
I'm glad that you did what you did
And then it occurs as if from above
You knew that I was the one for this love
You knew I'd rejoice in his triumps though small they might be
And urge him to greatness despice what they see
I'd find joy and laughter where there might be tears
I'd see his limits and proceed with out fears

Poor little guy had to go to the Red Deer hospital and get put to sleep to have his teeth worked on! He had on pulled and two silver caps.

Wallhanging

I really enjoyed working on this wall hanging espcially after my sisters told me to add beads and bells etc to the picture. It is for Mrs.Q who is my son's aide and has been for the last two years. She is a wonderful person. Oh and one more christmas present completed!!

This is my brothers and sisters at a reunion a couple of years ago. Montey,Dave, me,Judy,LaVerle and Jack. In every picture that we took at least one of us had our eyes shut?!

This is a picture from last christmas with the missing kids photo shopped in. Some of the kids hate it but it has everyone in it including grandkids.In the far left is Shanes girlfriend Charlotte standing in front of him. Our daughter Becky is standing right behind me in a light colored jacket and four more to the right on the top row is our son Brendan.

For those just getting to know me, these are my boys! No sons in laws just mine and we are missing one 20 year old son!

This is where Bridget makes wonderful and tasty things everyday for the kids in J C Charyk school. And I even help her once in a while.

Treydon lost a tooth.

But on the way to Brooks is Duchess where the only person I know around here fixes sewing machines and sergers! So I was very happy to get my serger fixed so I can finish the jogging suits and start on christmas pjs. It took him four solid hours to fix it!

Yesterday we had to make a trip to Brooks which is over an hour away because we needed to get this to straighten the girls hair and its the only place we can find it.

Another baby quilt finished this week for baby William due in Nov.

Sunday Sept 14

Colt is leaving for work in Edmonton. This is the beginning of him leaving home never to really live here again(sob) Next he will be leaving for his mission and then he will be leaving to go to school and etc etc. It hard to see the peace-maker of our family leave.

Spent the first three days of the week at a seminar for Autism in Calgary. Treydon's aide and his teacher were also there. Alas it as horribly incrediably boring!!!!! His teacher said she pittied us having to stay for the next two days if it didn't get better. It didn't. I baled after the second day- figured my kids needed me more and I spent the money I saved on a motel room on a birthday present. I did get to spend some time with Sarah. She is my best friends daughter. We had a nice visit. Shopped a little and she took me out to dinner. She is working as a nurse and still going to school to get her RN. Just doing normal house cleaning stuff when I got home and went and volunteered at the concession booth at the school Josh, Tashena and Mckenzie go to. Its actually a freshly made hot lunch everyday and she makes wonderful things like beef in a bread basket, chicken lasgna(sp?) hamburger soup, muffins wirth fruit in , pasta salad,grilled cheese sandwiches, crackers and cheese, parfaits all in one days choice. She doesn't make a ton of any one thing so she makes fresh everyday.And everyday is differant. I was sewing on jogging suits for humanitarian but my serger is really being wierd! It seems to me since I am doing this for humanirtarian that the machine should work, shouldn't it? I ahve one more quilt I need to get tied and hemmed before Michael heads back to Utah the end of this month.
