I just finished reading Maurice and the amazing rodents. I had been looking on Andrea's blog. It was rather interesting- but I think it was too hard for my 9 and 10 year old readers. I also got the Changling and the other book she suggested. We should have something on the side of the blog to discuss books. I have read some really good ones on Kristy's recommendations too. Especially Life as we knew it.

I read Life as we knew it. Then I asked my son what he thought of the book too. I thought it was good and very thought provoking. Corey thought it was depressing and wouldn't finish reading it. I think he got scared about it being TOO close to real. ; D
My daughter Mckenzie thought it was depressing, but as parents I think it was really a wake up call.
